When you don't know....

This is something I tell my student clients when they are get stuck on a question in exams. It can be applied to all of us....

Your brain is a problem solving device.

Ask your mind to look for the answer & it will go to work.

Don't let it respond with

"I don't know"

Keep asking,

What do you know?

Where would you start if you did know?

Confusion keeps you stuck.

Curiosity opens you up.

Go back to the question.

Ask again,

What do I know?

I know where to start. I can start with the question. I know how to break it down.

One step after another. Keep moving with curiosity.

What's the next small step I can take? How might I find out?

What's one thing that will help you move towards the answer?
